Hey people! Today is the first day of school after the holidays. It seems very sucky as well most people are still in holiday moods and not only that, half my class did not turn up for class. I still turned up regardless of the fact that I'm SICK! Yes I'm sick, and I've been so sick since I came here. Man, I'm having fever, flu and cough. Maybe its my fault that I'm sick cause when I went to the coast, I had a lack of sleep and was also caught in the rain. So that's why I'm totally stoned and tuned out during my tutorials today.

But anyway, Gold Coast was great. We are the luckiest bummers on earth. One day we're living in a dump with a horrible landlord and the next we're living in a 5 star hotel- Conrad Jupiter, at least it looked and seemed like one. One of my housemate's parents came with us. Firstly they paid for our train fare, and then we went to the coast to meet another of my housemate's uncle who subsequently arranged the 5 star accommodation and also paid for all our transport. We have a full day of shopping and asian food! Went to the noodle house and ate yummy Hong Kong food (paid for by Andrew's parents), dinner we went to this Zen restaurant in our hotel (paid for by Colin's uncle). It was such a fufilling day of shopping. And to top the night off, we went clubbing in the coast. I thought it wasnt as fun as the one in the city but still it was great. But seriously, I think that the coast and me had some conflicts. Everytime I go there, I feel pukish. But I still enjoyed myself very very much, playing mini golf as well. Was trashed like mad though. Bleah, why must the holidays be over so fast?

Cant wait for the next holiday to come. Bad thinking right? But anyway got to work and get well too.. ta~!

Me have been lazy with updates again. Have not updated in ages, though the reason this time is not that I was busy with work, I was good and finished my work already. But anyway, I was just too lazy as I'm having my holidays NOW! I know that most of you will probably want to kill me seeing as Singapore universities are having their exams soon- In about 2-3 weeks right? Ok I'll not bitch about it anymore.

For the past 2 days I've totally been slacking around and not touching my books at all. Which is bad considering the fact that I've to submit essays on the week that I come back from holidays but what the heck, when there's a will, there'll be a way to complete my assignments. Anyway yesterday I went down to Indooroopily for late night shopping. You see, Australia is a funny country, the shops mostly all close at 5pm and only on thursday and fridays they open till 9pm. So yesterday we went down to this shopping centre that's relavtively huge and went SHOPPING! As usual I was spending money again, this week I've been spending so much that I really have to cut down or else I think my dad will kill me. I bought like a beanie, eye make-up remover and stuff. Basically stuff that I think I can do without. Oh and I want to get this cranberry body butter from The Body Shop but its not sold in Australia. Anyone feeling charitable can buy and send to me. Hee..And oh oh its something else important today- its Good Friday!

Went to church at 8am this morning, its really a godforsaken hour of the day. Obviously we woke up late and had to rush and stuff BUT we manage to get to church on time. Today is the day that God sacrificed himself for us and atone for our sins with his blood.
God's Love

This is how God showed his love among us. He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. ( 1 John 4:9-10)

I found that very meaningful that He's willing to sacrifice so much for us but yet in this world, there're still so many people who sin and disregard our Lord. And yet when we confess, we're just forgiven like that. Its really very very wierd but that's the way it is. I'm not sure if I got it right but yeah I hope I did.

Anyway all of us just came back from church and knocked out literally and was shooken awake for lunch. Oh and our landlord made an issue with us on the dishes again. Seriously speaking, I think at the end of this year everyone will move out. Watched 2 movies today- Whale Rider and Down with Love. Both movies are GREAT!! If you havent watch them( bear in mind that I'm a little slow) GO WATCH THEM! Sigh, was listening the JLo's Let's get Loud just now. Really brought back alot of memories for me, when I was an OGL and during jc times and stuff. Friends were so easily made and kept but now its hard to even make friends much less go out together. Did an IQ test just now, and my score was 104. Bleah I have 12 minutes to do 50 questions! Damnit, those IQ mensa people are crazy. Well that's them, and tomorrow going down to the city. Hopefully shops will be open man or else, this place is bloody boring!!!!
